Pediatric Occupational Therapy
Easterseals Central Alabama’s pediatric occupational therapy (OT) program focuses on helping children develop the skills they need to grow into functional, independent adults. Physical impairment, injuries, sensory sensitivities and a host of other issues can limit a child’s ability to perform and manage day-to-day activities like dressing and bathing easily. We also offer hippotherapy, which utilizes a horse as a tool to help children reach their OT goals!
Our highly-qualified therapists and large, bright, fun OT space make it a great place to help your child get the start they need. In addition to OT, we also have speech therapy, the Food School and Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) on-site, making this a convenient location to get the services your child may need. If you suspect your child would benefit from occupational therapy, ask your pediatrician for a referral. We will then be in touch about setting up an evaluation.
